Ford question

Anyone have any ideas on how to unstick the diverter door that makes the A/C blow threw the vents? 04 F-250 CCSRW. The truck is only used to pull the trailer and sits in storage most of the time. I don't relish the thought of having to tear the dash apart to fix it.

New Collie

Losing Andy was not easy and with Sadie 12 years old I was not sure about getting another Collie. Well I started (just to look) at MWCR rescue site and found a tri-color Collie boy named Mikko. Well I will be making a trip to MN Saturday to pick him up.:B

RE: Update on Andy

Thank you for the kind words and the pictures. Andy was the black tri-color. Cat the poem brought water to my eyes (in a library no less). You people are the best, thanks again for the kindness. Colliehauler

Update on Andy

Today at 1:00 Andy passed. For Andy and his problems life was a struggle. With two major heart problems he was not suppose to make it to 2 years old. Andy made it to 10 years old and had a good life. Andy loved life and people and did not have a mean bone in his body. Andy is buried next to Neal. I hope some day I will see him again at the rainbow bridge. Please feel free to post any pictures of Andy from the rallies at Branson or Colorado that you may have. Take care and give your dogs a hug. Colliehauler

hello everybody

I have been away from the Internet for a while. I have been busy at work or on vacation for most of the summer. I feel bad about not being able to attend the OFR and I did not find out about Old Fella passing until recently. Andy (Collie) has had a rough summer. Without going into detail he has cheated death twice this year. I know it's just a question of time but I guess that could be said about all of us. I hope everyone has a safe and happy summer. Take care.

RE: Andy (Collie) UPDATE page 2

Andy came through the surgery just fine they kept him overnight. They ended up taking out 23 teeth. I had tried having something done with his teeth earlier but neither K-State or my vet wanted to tackle it because of the high risk. It came to a point where the quality of life took president over not taking a chance. Andy is doing well and probably feeling a lot better. Thanks for all the thoughts an prayers.

Andy (Collie) UPDATE page 2

Due to health reasons Andy will have to have his teeth cleaned. This in itself would not be a problem but Andy has two heart problems that make this extremely risky. I will let you know if he makes it.

RE: RIP - RVSnowBird

I never had the opportunity to meet Dick but felt like I knew him from the forum. He was a kind person and will be greatly missed. God speed Snowbird.

RE: best premium trailer,no fivers

Based on rv.org New Horizon is the best TTWe have a winner. Without a doubt the best TT made. My second choice would be Spacecraft Mfg, another custom builder.

RE: Nieghbors fence - a long rant

You have several options rather then complain. 1. Move the camper away from the fence. 2. Take down the portion of fence that can fall on your camper. 3. Put up a new fence the length of your camper. 4. Do nothing and complain.

RE: Shocks or Trailair Equa-Flex sustem

I would think shocks would work in tandem with the Equa-flex to give the best ride.

In my opinion it would be a non-issue.

RE: Storing F250 diesel for extended time

I only use my 04 F-250 Diesel for towing of a summer. I just park it with some additive in the fuel and a full tank.

Yokohama tires anygood?

I'm thinking about a set of Yokohama Geolander tires for the F-250 crew cab. Any one own them and if so how do you like them?

RE: I want a dog, she doesn't

Dogs are a great inconvenience. They require a lot of care, shots, walks, food, housing/boarding, waste disposal, vet care, and many more things. If your wife does not want a pet this will be held over your head every time an inconvenience happens, it will be YOUR FAULT. I personally would not travel without my dogs, but that is what is right for me.

RE: No Manners, Ignorance, or what? What would you do?

I agree with othertonka. Plain English. Said politely with a true smile and maybe you'll even get a nice wave as she walks by with her dog on a short leash. :) Plain english. Mame, I would sure appreaciate it if you could shorten the leash on your dogs collar so he won't come so close to our space. Since you have a dog, you know that dogs are very protective of their home turf and when you allow your dog to get that close, our dogs get real protective and I am afraid they will get away from us and attact your little dog and we don't want that to happen. So we would appreciate that when you pass our space, that you shorten up the leash. Is that to much to ask of you?I agree
